Are you a small business looking for a slick brand to help you stand out in a crowded space? We know that hiring an agency is not always in the budget. That’s why we are so excited to announce our Summer 2025 internship program, The Hatchery.

This program will support an intern brand team made up of two hand-selected students who will support your brand ideation, creation, and execution. These students will work alongside you every step away and be under the supervision and mentorship of our team of brand professionals here at HatchMark Studio. You get a brand. Why The Hatchery?

The Hatchery is a tremendous opportunity for our interns, but it’s also a great opportunity for small businesses like yours! Here are some of the advantages to trusting our summer interns with your brand:

Full brand systems cost tens of thousands of dollars. This program lowers that cost barrier to entry and allows small business owners to benefit from a professional-level brand at a reduced rate.

Enjoy an expedited timeline
Brand projects can take anywhere from three to six months under normal circumstances. This is a 12-week program, meaning you get to go from 0 to 60 with your new brand quicker than usual.

Is your business the right fit?

Just as we are searching for the perfect interns to support your brand project, we are also looking for the perfect business. In this scenario, that business will look a certain way and have a few key qualifications.

See if your business can check these boxes, and if so – we want to hear from you!

You must be available for in-person meetings every two weeks at our Pensacola location. These meetings are non-negotiable and dates and times will be predetermined. 

We need a business that is fully committed to the 12-week brand project. No ghosting or backing out once things start!

We believe interns should be paid! Note that the cost of the brand project is due upfront.  (More on that in the section below.)

We want you to have been in business for at least two years. We want this work to make it out into the real world, and a business past the initial startup phase ensures that’s the case for years to come.

The business should have less than 10 full-time employees. This helps ensure we’re working with small businesses that can benefit the most!

It should have between $250,000 and $1,000,000 in gross annual revenue. This ensures you’re established enough to fully rollout the brand, but still small enough to get maximum impact out of this process.

You have a firm grasp on customer base, target audience, brand differentiators, and who you are as a brand. Since this is a truncated process, our standard market research aspect is not included. We need you to know your customer!

You need to participate in the brand process, including interviews, workshops, revisions, and more. 

You must have a dedicated point of contact who will respond to emails, phone calls, and other communications in a timely manner. This is not a set it and forget it project. It requires collaboration!

You must be committed to moving forward with the full rebrand, including logo, full visual system, messaging platform, and campaign concepts. (This means we fully expect you to have a budget allocated to update signage, menus, website, and everything in between.) 

We want to show this off! We need participation in joint marketing/promotional efforts with HatchMark Studio surrounding your new brand launch.

How much does it cost?

$7,200. Although this is a discounted rate, we did want to take an opportunity to discuss where your money is going.

100% of your project costs will be funneled directly to our interns to compensate them for their work. This amounts to $15/hr over the 12 week period, per intern. You’ll be contributing to the growth of both a brand design and copywriting intern. What a great way to impact the future!

At HatchMark Studio, we believe strongly in providing fair wages to all of our interns in a space where unpaid or underpaid internships are too often the norm. This price point allows us to pay our hardworking interns while giving you the best possible deal for your brand project.
